Use Walmart's official store finder and current event notices for holiday plans. The Event Support notice reviewed for this guide explicitly gives 2025 Thanksgiving and Christmas closures; it is not a verified 2026 holiday calendar.
Read the date, not just the headline
Walmart's reviewed Event Support page says U.S. stores closed on November 27 and December 25, 2025. Those are useful historical confirmations. Moving the same opening or closing times into a 2026 table would imply a new confirmation that the notice does not provide.
For Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Easter, or New Year's Day, open the current local listing and look for a specific holiday notice. If one is not displayed and your trip depends on it, call the store.
Treat a holiday visit as three checks
The building, its service departments, and order fulfillment can follow different schedules. An online order may be accepted while a physical counter is closed.

For a custom order, keep the accepted collection time with the store address. For an online order, check the actual estimated arrival date instead of assuming a holiday promotion includes delivery before the celebration. Recheck any last-minute change in the official order details.

Is the same schedule valid every year?
No. Use a notice naming the relevant year or confirm the schedule with the local store. A previous closure is not a complete current-year timetable.
If Walmart is open, will the pharmacy be open?
Check the pharmacy's own holiday hours. Main-store opening does not establish prescription-counter availability.
