Open Purchase History and select the order. Use its available edit, reschedule or cancellation controls before the applicable cutoff. Review the revised total and confirmation after saving. If Request Cancellation appears, it is a request; verify the outcome before placing a replacement order.
Choose the smallest change that solves the problem
If you only need another item, look for Edit items. If you cannot make the collection time, look for Reschedule. If the address is wrong, inspect the address-edit control. Each option can depend on the order's type and processing stage.
Walmart's help allows some pickup and delivery changes before the cutoff shown in Purchase History, with rescheduling generally limited to once. Do not substitute a deadline remembered from a previous order. Save a copy of the original details when comparing the revised purchase.

Check the complete revision, not just the added item
Compare quantities, prices, substitutions and any delivery or shipping fees after making a change. Walmart warns that an edited total can affect fees. If a previously expected price no longer appears, resolve the discrepancy before treating the revised order as settled.
Changing the saved address in your account does not establish that an existing purchase moved with it. Confirm the address inside that order and retain the update email. Walmart says customer care cannot change a delivery address on your behalf; use the available account control.
When the button is gone, stop assuming the order can be recalled
If the order is too far along or the requested action is unavailable, use the official help route for that transaction. Explain the exact change you need and the current status. Do not ask a driver to improvise a different destination after dispatch.
After requesting cancellation, watch for confirmation and check the item status. For a partially canceled basket, identify what remains active. A replacement order creates another purchase, so confirm the first outcome and your available funds before ordering again. If an item arrives despite the request, follow its applicable return process.

Does a canceled order's bank entry disappear immediately?
