A five-digit ZIP code is a straightforward starting point when a city name matches several places. If using a city, include the state. Open the result and compare its street address with where you intend to go. Navigation apps, a shopping account and a saved browser bookmark may each have a different location selected.

When you know the store number from an order or receipt, use it to disambiguate similar results. In Orlando, #1220 is on S Kirkman Road and #4332 is on Turkey Lake Road. Both are Walmart Supercenters, but they are separate destinations. A generic instruction to go to the Orlando Walmart would not identify which location holds your order.

Use the service as the first filter

Compare usable trips rather than distance alone

Check the relevant department, not only the front door
