Walmart says tips are optional and go entirely to the driver. You can edit a tip for up to three hours after delivery, add an extra tip between three and 24 hours, or add an initial tip within 14 days if none was included. Use the eligible order in Purchase History.
Choose edit, extra tip or first tip
Open the delivered order rather than starting from a new cart or general wallet setting. Review whether a tip was already included and when the delivery finished. The controls available depend on what you are trying to do and how much time has passed.
Adding another tip is different from replacing an existing amount. Read the label on the action and the total before confirming. If the interface offers Add extra tip, do not assume entering your preferred overall amount subtracts what you already gave.

A missing button does not identify the cause by itself
Walmart says an order without an Add tip option is not eligible for that action. Check the fulfillment type and timing before assuming the app is broken. InHome bookings are specifically tip-free, and a parcel shipment is not automatically the same service as groceries delivered from a store.
If the order appears inconsistent with what you booked, save its service label and use official help. Do not infer a driver's employment arrangement from a vehicle or a forum comment; the order record is the more useful starting point.
Keep feedback and payment changes clear
Describe a service problem through the appropriate feedback or order-help option. A missing bag, a wrong item and an unsafe handoff are different issues, and changing the tip alone does not submit a missing-item request.
If you want to recognize a good delivery, use the eligible order's tipping control and verify the confirmation. Keep a simple private record when several household deliveries happen on the same day so the amount goes with the intended order. There is no universal tip amount established by Walmart's help page; choose deliberately rather than mistaking a suggested value for a required charge.
